Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications using the LAMP stack.
Architect and optimize complex MySQL database schemas for performance and data integrity.
Develop RESTful APIs for Android/Hardware integration and document endpoints using Swagger or Postman.
Manage Linux web servers (Debian/Ubuntu) and use Composer for dependency management.
Write secure code adhering to OWASP standards to protect client and system data.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Or: A verifiable portfolio of deployed projects demonstrating equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of professional experience in PHP development (modern object-oriented PHP preferred).
Strong proficiency in SQL and database management (specifically MySQL/MariaDB).
Hands-on experience with Linux Server Administration (CLI, Apache/Nginx configuration, Bash scripting).
Solid understanding of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6).
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot complex "full-stack" issues, from the browser console down to the server logs.
US-Based: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Attention to Detail: A commitment to writing secure code that protects client data (sanitization, authentication, etc.).
Time Zone Overlap: Must be available for at least 3 hours of overlap with US Central Standard Time (CST/GMT-6) for team syncs.
